Modular racks for high-power test systems
EA Elektro-Automatik
Rack clusters, power supplies and electronic loads with grid feedback from EA Elektro-Automatik achieve up to 3.84MW of power for efficient and futureproof systems for tests with high power requirements, such as battery or fuel cell packs, PV systems and other electrical and electronic components.
The racks are modularly designed: devices in the 3U, 4U and 6U versions can be configured into rack systems with 42U, 38U, 24U and 15U. Programmable power supplies, bidirectional power supplies or regenerative loads such as the EA-10,000 and EA-10,000 Industrial series can be combined. The system power can be increased at any time by connecting devices in parallel. A single 42U rack with five devices thus enables a power of 300kW; for the maximum power of 3.84MW, up to 64 devices can be connected in 13 racks.
Since the solutions from EA Elektro-Automatik feature optional water cooling in a closed housing, they are also suitable for operation under extreme loads or within rough industrial environments.
