Intrepid will introduce its latest innovation at the expo: the RAD-Galaxy 2 for managing network connectivity in the automotive sector. This ethernet active tap and gateway features 12 100/1000BASE-T1 PHYs and can effortlessly tap into six links between ECUs and switch ports, providing comprehensive traffic monitoring capabilities.

Beyond monitoring, the RAD-Galaxy 2 offers independent connectivity for up to 12 devices, enabling seamless simulation, testing and parallel ECU flashing. It also features eight CAN FD channels, robust DoIP/SoAD support and a high-speed 10GBASE-T port, making it ideal for automotive Ethernet connectivity.

Product features include 12x 100/1,000BASE-T1 using the Marvell 88Q2112 PHY6x Active Taps6-way H-MTD Connector; 1x 10GBASE-T port; 8x ISO CAN FD channels with selectable onboard termination; 1x DoIP activation line; 4GB internal RAM for full speed capture and buffering; flexible media conversion between any of the RAD-Galaxy 2’s 100/1,000BASE-T1 and 100/1,000/10GBASE-T PHYs; BroadR-Reach devices also supported.
