MicroNova
MicroNova has raised the electrical simulation of battery cells to a new level. The main innovation is the ability to simulate the dynamic state of a battery for arbitrary operation points – going far beyond the current state of technology where mainly cell voltages at a low rate (millisecond) are being simulated.
The NovaCarts Battery Cell Emulation Board simulates the electrical behavior of lithium-ion battery cells and fuel cells and is ideal for validating battery control units and charging systems. Furthermore, it offers optimal conditions for the development of innovative battery management functions as well as new battery types (e.g. solid-state lithium cells). The board can be used to simulate the state of a battery in any condition, with μs resolution for electrical simulations that even enable impedance spectroscopy for control devices.
At MicroNova’s booth, the company’s testing experts will demonstrate the comprehensive capabilities of the new cell emulation board in combination with the NovaCarts HIL platform.
