Day 1: Moog unveils expanded hydraulic component range and updated motion systems
Moog

Showcasing its latest advancements in hydraulic components and motion systems, Moog is at the expo to present a range of innovations designed to enhance testing capabilities.

A key highlight is the Modular Hydraulic Service Manifold, now available in 400- or 1,000-liter sizes. This manifold can be customized with options such as a safety manifold, pilot stage and additional station blocks to meet specific test requirements.

The expo is a great opportunity for Moog, according to Jasper Knol, technical sales engineer for test solutions, “The reason we are attending the show is because it provides us with a great platform to connect with experts in the industry. We believe that the open exchange of ideas and insights with the visitors is crucial for innovation and progress. By exhibiting our technology at this show, we can offer valuable insights into the functionality of our Test Controller, which we believe will greatly benefit professionals in their day-to-day work in the test lab.”

Moog has also revamped its high-performance electromechanical (EM) and electropneumatic (EP) motion systems. These systems, designed for various test applications, integrate with Moog’s test software and hardware portfolio.

“Our solutions are designed to be future-oriented. We are confident that participating in this show will not only allow us to demonstrate our technology, but also enable us to collaborate with our customers on projects that meet their specific requirements,” added Knol.

The company has introduced its Next Generation Test Controller, a solution for both small- and large-channel automotive test applications. Coupled with Moog’s Test Software Suite, this controller features powerful control loop technologies for precise specimen testing.

The enhanced software suite supports block-based recording, new hardware devices and improved signal monitoring in vibration tests, along with complex test monitoring via sine sweep software.

Knol concluded, “The dynamics in the market are constantly evolving, and this show allows us to directly respond to the requirements that are important in the field of testing, especially in terms of safety, functionality and reliability.”
