Sophisticated beamforming system
HEAD Acoustics - Stall 2054

The human brain can process visual impressions more quickly and flexibly than pure acoustic impressions. That’s why HEAD Acoustics is displaying its sophisticated HEAD Visor beamforming system, which makes sounds and their sources visible. The system consists of a unique spiral array of microphones to localise sound sources, and three cameras to measure the exact distance to a noise source. Thanks to its unique spiral layout, HEAD Visor can provide outstanding spatial and temporal resolution for acoustic analysis. Even highly dynamic processes can be separated and apportioned precisely, and often the origin of a noise can be acquired within a few minutes of setting up the system.
