Sensational torque sensors
NCTE - Stall 2054

There are several ways to measure torque, but engineers looking for solutions that are highly accurate, of a simple construction, but also robust, should stop by the NCTE stall to look at the company’s range of innovative torque sensors. These use the physical principle of magnetostriction (or the magneto-elastic principle), whereby the dimensions of a body change in the presence of an external magnetic field. Sensors detect these magnetic field changes, enabling highly precise real-time determination of the acting forces. This effect is very stable, permanent, reproducible and strictly linear, making NCTE sensors rugged, long-life solutions for series production.
