EMC interference testing
AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation - Booth 11022

AR will have a range of updated RF amplifiers on show at Automotive Testing Expo, Novi, Michigan. The enhanced MultiTone Test System now offers greater testing efficiency, an extended frequency range, and predefined conducted and radiated susceptibility test profiles for automotive testing. The company claims that the MultiTone Test System can reduce the need for radiated immunity testing 10-fold.

The conducted immunity system has also been upgraded. The new CI00402 boasts the same flexibility as previous versions, but it can perform measurements more quickly and is available at a lower price.

In addition, the company will bring its new solid-state pulsed amplifiers, which it says present an attractive alternative to TWTAs for automotive and military EMC radiated immunity susceptibility testing. These amplifiers operate between 1GHz and 8GHz, with octave and sub-octave bandwidths up to 150kW.

Finally, AR will be showcasing for the first time at Automotive Testing Expo its new SunAR antennas, masts and turntables for EMC emissions and immunity testing.
