The Series 8500 is Maccor’s latest high-power, fully automated battery test system for evaluating EV and energy storage batteries under real-world conditions. The whole range has a capability of 1,500V and up to 2,000A.
There are two models of the 8500, one single-channel and a multiple-channel system. It can operate in a number of modes, such as constant current, constant voltage, constant power and constant resistance.
To get the most out of the system, Maccor has developed a fully featured battery test software, so that the Series 8500 can perform a wide range of battery tests, including FUDS, SFUDS and DST.
The 8500 is supplied as a complete turnkey system with a test cabinet, PC computer, test software, data acquisition and analysis software.
