(H)EV powertrain testing suite
LHP Engineering Solutions - Booth 15009

LHP Engineering Solutions will be focusing on its Powertrain Controls Group division at this year’s Automotive Testing Expo, with particular attention going to hybrid and EV powertrains. The first new product the company will be presenting is its redesigned Engine Control System (ECS), which now features 48V hybrid motor controls for stop/start and eBoost, and is built around National Instruments’ ‘Drivven’ powertrain hardware. The LHP ECS Suite offers real-time computing power and features FPGA-controlled ECM drive electronics for high-performance engine research applications.

The second product LHP will showcase is its HIL test platform for verification of functional safety of hybrid vehicle controls. It promises excellent I/O capability, processing power, test management, new user interfaces and reporting capability in open and reconfigurable test systems ready for qualification under ISO 26262.

Finally, LHP will demonstrate the compatible Panthera RCP software suite for executing Simulink controls. It provides an environment to develop real-time control algorithms by using the Panthera blockset and immediately deploying them to National Instruments hardware.
