Datum Electronics’ latest bolt-on stress and load sensor for dynamic high-stress applications will be on show at Automotive Testing Expo in Novi.
The 469 series model was developed after a customer requested a device that was easy to install and could measure stress and load across all types of vehicle axles, measure stresses on vehicle structures and withstand the harsh conditions of an automotive testing regime on- and off-road. The 469 sensor is a simple design and promises to be low-cost, reliable and available in high volumes.
In addition to the 469 model, Datum Electronics offers a range of other strain sensors that bolt on and require no gauge adhesives, soldering, complex wiring or additional environmental protection. They will even function underwater.
