Fujifilm will be highlighting its new DynamIx Radiography Testing System with the new FXR Digital Detector Array and HR2 Computed Radiography scanner. The FXR digital detector panel has a maximum resolution of 100 micron with a detective area of 40.6 x 40.6cm, which allows for a high volume of inspections with the ability to expose multiple components at once. The HR2 Computed Radiography system offers a resolution of 25 micron to show minute defects in castings and electronic substrates.
Both the FXR and HR2 are operated on a common image acquisition/viewing software platform, DynamIx VU. Fujifilm’s advanced image processing technology allows exposure results to be acquired within a wide dynamic range, enabling inspections of components with various thicknesses. DynamIx VU also has server options providing storage, networking and sharing of the inspection images within the company and customers’ remote locations.
