Dewetron

The DEWE3-M8s is a portable, DC- and battery-powered system ideal for mobile automotive applications such as in-vehicle power and efficiency measurements, durability tests, WLTP and e-charger tests. It supports all high-speed TRION(3) modules for a variety of sensor inputs, including voltage, current, vibration, strain gauges, thermocouples and CAN. Synchronization is easy with external time sources such as GPS, PTP or IRIG. By swapping in TRION(3) power modules, nearly all Dewetron DAQ systems can effortlessly be turned into highly accurate and mobile power analyzers with a basic accuracy error of only 0.03%. For applications without Windows OS, a Linux-based firmware can convert the DEWE3-M8s into a front-end system, connected to a host PC via LAN. The integrated Oxygen measurement software enables data retrieval, processing and storage.

Offering versatile power supply options, the DEWE3-M8s features an isolated wide-range input (11-32V DC), external AC power, UPS functionality and integrated hot-swap battery bays. This ensures continuous mobile operation without the need for an external power source. A dedicated Oxygen plug-in also monitors the battery status during testing.
