Akshay leads the global business development for Simcenter autonomy solutions at Siemens Digital Industries Software, where he is responsible for deploying the digital twin through simulation and testing for ADAS and AV development. Akshay has more than 15 years of experience helping clients adopt and deploy advanced simulation-based product development processes. He is focused on SDV, ADAS simulation and AV systems testing. Prior to Siemens, he worked with MSC Software, focusing on vehicle dynamics and controls.

Leverage real-world data for ADAS development in SDV context

Software-defined vehicle (SDV) has become a critical approach for the development of sophisticated ADAS systems. These systems use sophisticated sensors and compute hardware generating large amounts of data, which is used for the development as ell as verification and validation (V&V) of these systems. In this presentation, we show how real-world data, accurate and holistic digital twin for the vehicle, sensors, and the ECU/SoC can be integrated into a software-defined vehicle development framework. This framework allows users to adopt a shift-left methodology by integrating digital twins very early in the development process and ensuring a robust V&V workflow.
