Mark Klavon

As an SAE Senior Technical Program Manager, Mark’s day-to-day functions can fall into any of the following areas: Business Development, Cooperative Research Program/Projects, Financial Support and Funding, Legacy Programs, Engineering Aids and Technical Support. The engineers Mark works with are always looking to make improvements to SAE Standards. These improvements require research along with formal testing and data analysis. The SAE’s testing helps support our automotive future along with providing a baseline for new technologies. Having technical skills as an electrical engineer (LTU/BSEE 1988) along with years of experience in the software world (Carnegie Mellon/MSIT-ISM 2005), have given Mark an opportunity to work with engineers across the globe.
