Kevin Jones

Kevin is an engineer who has worked within the automotive industry for approximately 14 years; half of that time has been spent supporting energy storage R&D. He is currently working for Southwest Research Institute, where he is the lab manager for the Energy Storage Technology Center (ESTC). This lab is responsible for testing relating to the performance, life and safety of battery cells, modules and packs. Kevin's responsibilities within the ESTC lab include assisting engineers with test design and setup, organizing and overseeing technicians conducting the testing, and ensuring safety, environmental and data quality processes are implemented and maintained.
